You were correct in saying that hiragana wasn't that hard to learn. A good study method that I use is every day, I look on websites such as Amazon.co.jp, Yahoo.co.jp (the Japanese versions of those sites) and look for hiragana that I know. It helps to reinforce what you've already learned, and you feel like you are learning after all. Good luck to all!

Hello,
I had the same problem, windows media player doesn't work for me with these sound files, so what I did was associate the files with Quick Player instead and now they work [download one and right click and choose properties from the drop down menu and then click the change button that's across from 'open with' to change the application]. They don't automatically play and now all my wav sound files are associated with QP, but that's a small issue compared with not being able to hear them at all and it's easy enough to change back :)

You should be able to simply click on the Note icon. It is a regular wav file.

I am not able to hear the sound byte. It says "Windows media player cannot play the file. Does anyone know a way to hear the sound byte?
