Japanese: 僕の妻はで一番高いカバンを買ってしまった。
Romaji: boku no tsuma wa mise de ichiban takai kaban o katte shimatta.
English: My wife bought the most expensive purse in the store! (shimatta implies it is unfortunate)

Japanese: 喫茶に入りましょう。
Romaji: kissaten ni hairimashou.
English: Let's go in to a cafe.

Japanese: どんなおが好きですか?
Romaji: donna o mise ga suki desu ka?
English: Which store do you like? (the 'o' is optional, but makes it more formal/polite)

Japanese: そのでは教科書を売っている。
Romaji: sono mise de wa kyoukasho o utte iru.
English: They sell textbooks at the bookstore.

Japanese: 仕事が終わらなかったので、その員はパーティーにいけなかった。

English: Not having finished his work, the clerk couldn't go to the party.

English: Go down the street for about five minutes, and you will see the Department store to the right.
