MEMORY: It looks like paKU man (Pac-man)

EXAMPLES: How do you say them?
- This means 'the number 9'
- This means 'to go'
 - This means 'air'

hey...wait...isn't the number nine "kyu" ? someone clarify...( by the way, I'm a complete beginner...hence the question..)

く（Ku） and

く（Ku） and きゅう（Kyuu） both mean 9. In certain instances you use one instead of the other. Just like しち（Shichi） and なな（Nana） mean 7.
