Here are three useful phrases you can use today when speaking Japanese. Learn how to say, "Please speak slower," "Please repeat," and -- when all else fails -- "I don't understand."

もっとゆっくり話してください。

motto yukkuri hanashite kudasai
Please speak a little slower.


もう一回言ってください。

mou ikkai itte kudasai
Please say that again.


分かりません。

wakarimasen.
I don't understand.
