I would like to join at the $1 a month level. I am also interested in very very beginner stories. I only just memorized the hiragana alphabet and need help understanding whether I am pronouncing the words correctly and finding out what they mean. Thanks. Julie

      Hi Julia–thank you!

First, we are removing the $1 level mostly because it was kind of a donation (it didn’t even have the Makoto issue) and the cost for processing $1, percentage-wise, is much more than higher amounts. Sorry! But we still have the $3 a month level.

That being said, I have really good news for your other question. We are working hard on a bundle of books for those very new to Japanese. It will include a growing collection of stories for very, very, very beginners. 🙂 This should be ready in the next few weeks.
