Kun: やす・む

Meaning: rest; vacation

As suggested above, the left part ( 亻) is actually “person” (人)

Stroke Order:

Examples:
夏休み natsu yasumi – summer vacation
昼休み hiru yasumi – lunch break
お休みなさい oyasuminasai – Good night!

Example Sentence:
休んだほうがいい。
yasunda hou ga ii.
We had better rest.
