Meaning: woman; female

A female ninja is called kunoichi. If you write hiragana ku く, katakana no ノ, and the kanji ichi 一 you get 女.

Stroke Order:

Examples:
彼女 kanojo – 1) her; 2) girlfriend
女の子 onna no ko – a girl
女優 jo yuu – an actress

Example Sentence:
彼は女をナンパばかりする。
kare wa onna o nanpa bakari suru.
He is always hitting on women.

[nanpa means “to hit on” the opposite sex.]
