For that bonehead to have passed his graduation exam, the teachers must have looked the other way.

あいつ—that guy (slang)
卒業試験そつぎょうしけん—graduation test
合格ごうかく—passing (a test); success
なんて—such as… (exclamation)
先生せんせい—teacher
手心てごころ—discretion; consideration
加くわえる—to append; to add; to increase
～に違ちがいない—without doubt

手鍋てなべさげても、あなたと結婚けっこんしたい。



Even if it means living in the humblest of cottages (with only a pot and a pan), I want to marry you.

手鍋てなべ—a pan with a handle
さげても—even if (we are) reduced to… [下さげる]
あなたと—with you
結婚けっこん—marry
したい—want to (marry)
