など

 ABOUT: 

■  When you are giving a non-exhaustive list, use など as you would use "etc" in English. "et cetera" "and the like" "and so forth."

HOW to use:

■ Add after the last entry of a non-exhaustive list.

EXAMPLES:

日本(にほん)、中国(ちゅうごく)、韓国(かんこく)などは、アジアの国(くに)です。
Japan, China, Korea, among others are Asian countries.

新幹線(しんかんせん)の名前(なまえ)は、のぞみ、ひかり、こだまなど。
The names for Shinkansen bullet trains include Nozomi, Hikari, Kodama, etc.
