
In the past, the test makers published detailed lists of the kanji that would be found on the test. They no longer do this, but the older information should still cover the majority of what's on the new tests. N4 roughly corresponds to the old 3級 level. Here is a free 33-page PDF with the old 3級 kanji. While it uses romaji instead of furigana (something we discourage), it still may be useful for some.
While we aren't sure exactly how many kanji are featured in N4, this list is based on the old information plus a guess at what other kanji might be included.
