（～が）一番(いちばん)

 ABOUT: 

■  is best; the most

■  The kanji mean: 一(いち) (one) + 番(ばん) (number (in a series); one's turn (in a game or duty))(ばん)

■  Something is considered the best within a certain context. 

HOW to use:

■ Nouns: noun + は/が + いちばん

■ Verbs: Plain form verb + の + は/が + いちばん

EXAMPLES:

和食(わしょく)の中(なか)でどれがいちばん好(す)きですか？
