いくら

いくら can be used for asking how many things there are, but it is most often used when asking how much something costs.

Examples:

この車(くるま)は、いくらですか？
How much is this car?

値段(ねだん)は、いくらですか？
What is the price?

お金(かね)は、いくら持(も)っていますか？
How much money do you have?

Other Forms:

■ いくらでも as much as you like; as many as you want
  9 お菓子(かし)は、いくらでも取(と)ってください。 Take as much candy as you'd like.

■ いくら～ても no matter how (much or many) [use with the て form; takes a negative verb]
  9 いくら泣(な)いても、あげない。 No matter how much you cry, I won't give (it) to you.
