JLPT N5 Grammar: V+ながら ~nagara


 ABOUT: 

■  ながら is a conjunction that indicates two actions are taking place at the same time. "While" "during" "as."

HOW to use:

■ Replace the ます form of verbs with ながら.

EXAMPLES:

ポップコーンを()ながら映画(えいが)()ました。
While eating popcorn, (I) watched a movie.
[popcorn | eating | while | movie | watched]

(ある)ながら携帯(けいたい)使(つか)うとあぶないですよ。
While walking, using a cell phone is dangerous.
[walking | while | cell phone | use | upon (using) | dangerous | (emphatic)]
