Grammar Notes:

■ のり　や　たまご　を　つかって　かわいい　おべんとう　を　つくります。
Add seaweed or eggs and make a cute bento.
The て form of the verb つかって makes it into a conjunction: use (seaweed or eggs) and …. This is used to add details to the sentence and isn’t used for contrast.
