means former; used to be; Ex

あの(ひと)(わたし)(もと)カレよ。

He is my ex-boyfriend.

  • あの人【あのひと】 that person [あの indicates the person is not presently near the speaker or listener]
  • 私の【わたしの】my [this is the pronoun 私 (I; me) with the possessive の]
  • 元カレ【もとかれ】former boyfriend [the カレ is from 彼 which is the pronoun for “he” or “him”]
  • よ (emphatic ender)


しもネタ

dirty joke; inappropriate joke

She was put off by his dirty joke.

ガチで(がち)

legit; literally; serious; truly

ガチは、ガチンコの(りゃく)で、真剣(しんけん)勝負(しょうぶ)真面目(まじめ)という意味(いみ)

Gachi is short for "gachinko," which means "a game played in earnest" or "seriousness."


 

うざい

annoying; Irritating

(かれ)面白(おもしろ)くない冗談(じょうだん)ばかり()うから、うざいよね。

He is annoying because he always tells lame jokes.
