MEANING: cat

EXAMPLE SENTENCE:

猫が丸くなって寝ています。

ねこ　が　まるく　なって　ねています。
The cat is sleeping curled up in a ball.

 

NOTES:

Use the ～て form to connect two verbs like: to curl in a circle and to sleep.

VOCABULARY:

猫　【ねこ】–cat
が –particle that usually marks the subject
丸くなって 【まるくなって】 –huddle in a circle
form a ring shape
寝ています 【ねています】 –sleeping
